The Latin American Missionary and Bible Institute Accredited by National Financial Accountability Organization
CHARLESTON, SC – The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) announced today the accreditation of The Latin American Missionary and Bible Institute of Charleston, SC.
ECFA accreditation is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.
The Latin American Missionary and Bible Institute joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 20 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal. When an organization is accredited by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.

Founded in 1999, The Latin American Missionary and Bible Institute’s (www.lambinstitute.org) mission is to respond to God’s call to care for, educate and protect every human being who suffers extreme poverty, abuse or lack of protection in Honduras. The Latin American Missionary and Bible Institute operates an elementary school with over 250 children in one of the most violent and poverty stricken areas of Tegucigalpa, a residential home for over 60 abused and neglected children outside of the city, a community assistance program, microfinance assistance, as well as a new, large outreach program to the youth.
