Resources for the Blind International Accredited by National Financial Accountability Organization

Columbia, SC  – The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) announced today the accreditation of Resources for the Blind International of Columbia, SC.

ECFA accreditation is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.

Resources for the Blind International joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 35 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal.  When an organization is accredited by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.

“We are pleased to include in our membership a ministry committed to helping visually impaired individuals outside of the United States reach their God-given potentials,” said Dan Busby, president of ECFA.

Founded in 1993, Resources for the Blind International (www.blindusa.org) accomplishes their mission by providing the necessary medical services, training, equipment, advocacy, and support needed in order to remove the obstacles and barriers that keep visually impaired individuals from reaching their God-given potentials.
