Orbie for Orphans Accredited by National Financial Accountability Organization
SKYLAND, NC – The ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) announced today the accreditation of Orbie for Orphans of Skyland, NC.
ECFA accreditation is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.
Orbie for Orphans joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 27 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal. When an organization is accredited by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.
“We are pleased to accredit a ministry committed to provide hope and healing to orphans and vulnerable children by equipping the body of Christ with unique animated discipleship tools that
connect God’s word to their painful issues,” said Dan Busby, president of ECFA.
Founded in 2011, Orbie for Orphans’ (www.OrbieforOrphans.org) curriculum comes in themed kits that include all the supplies for hands-on learning and comes in multiple languages so they can be used in many countries.
