New England Chapel Certified by National Financial Accountability Organization
FRANKLIN, MA – The ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) announced today the certification of New England Chapel of Franklin, MA.
ECFA certification is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.
New England Chapel joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 27 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal. When an organization is certified by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.
“We are pleased to certify a church committed to build authentic community through friendships, small groups, and worship where people who have given up on church but not on God can experience, embrace, and express the love of God in Jesus Christ so they can be a blessing within and beyond their walls,” said Dan Busby, president of ECFA.
Founded in 1998, New England Chapel (www.Newenglandchapel.org) is a Christian Reformed Church started in 1998 with a core group of 8 people who set out to have a different kind of church.
ECFA, founded in 1979, provides certification to leading Christian nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with the ECFA Standards pertaining to financial accountability, fundraising and board governance.
