International House of Prayer--Forerunner Christian Fellowship Accredited by National Financial Accountability Organization

KANSAS CITY, KS  – The ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) announced today the accreditation of International House of Prayer--Forerunner Christian Fellowship of Kansas City, MO.

ECFA accreditation is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.

The International House of Prayer joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 27 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal.  When an organization is accredited by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.

“We are pleased to accredit a ministry committed to partner in the great commission by advancing 24/7 prayer and proclaiming the beauty of Jesus and his glorious return” said Dan Busby, president of ECFA.

Founded in 1999, International House of Prayer (www.ihopkc.org) is an evangelical missions organization and local church that is committed to praying for the release of the fullness of God’s power through its prayer room, which combines worship in the form of music and singing with different types of prayer that has continued 24/7 since 1999. From this place of prayer the staff engage in many ministry activities including training, evangelism, discipleship and many social justice activities.
