Ground Zero Accredited by National Financial Accountability Organization
MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) announced today the accreditation of Ground Zero of Myrtle Beach, SC.
ECFA accreditation is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.
Ground Zero joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 35 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal. When an organization is accredited by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.
“We are pleased to include in our membership a ministry committed to reaching teenagers for Christ through three avenues: events, campus ministries, and teen club,” said Dan Busby, president of ECFA.
Founded in 1998, Ground Zero (www.groundzeromb.com) uses high visibility, high energy experiences that share the gospel and give an opportunity for students to respond. Additional Ground Zero events equip youth workers, parents, volunteers and student leaders to minister to teenagers. Most of Ground Zero’s events are offered at no cost. Campus ministries are student lead and meet weekly in local schools, offering devotions, prayer, teacher appreciation, and service opportunities. The new Ground Zero teen club projected to open in 2012 will offer cutting-edge, high quality, daily programing to reach teenagers and share Christ.
