Grace Church Certified by National Financial Accountability Organization
DUMFRIES, VA – The ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) announced today the certification of Grace Church of Dumfries, VA.
ECFA certification is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.
Grace Church joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 27 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal. When an organization is certified by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.
“We are pleased to certify a church committed to help people remove barriers, pursue truth, and to take action to live lives bigger than themselves,” said Dan Busby, president of ECFA.
Founded in 1998, Grace Church (www.gracechurchva.org) uses strong teaching, vibrant worship, life-building children and youth departments, community service and numerous life-changing auxiliary ministries. Amongst its various ministry activities, Grace Church blesses neighboring families weekly with free emergency food and tutoring, and through its annual Back-To-School, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Giveaways. Grace Church also has an international ministry called Project Promise that provides food, clothing, and educational materials to over 250 widows and orphans in Ethiopia.
