Fellowship Housing Corporation Accredited by National Financial Accountability Organization
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) announced today the accreditation of Fellowship Housing Corporation of Hoffman Estates, IL.
ECFA accreditation is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.
Fellowship Housing Corporation joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 35 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal. When an organization is accredited by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.
“We are pleased to include in our membership a ministry committed to serving the needs of single moms and their children who are homeless or one small crisis away from homelessness,” said Dan Busby, president of ECFA.
Founded in 1991, Fellowship Housing Corporation’s (www.fhcmoms.org) mission is to transform the lives of single moms and their children by providing safe, affordable housing and holistic mentoring to guide them from crisis to long-term stability. Since 1991, nearly 200 families have entered the Fellowship Housing Corporation’s program. Fellowship Housing Corporation was born out of a local church where a group of concerned men and women joined together to establish a program that would meet not just emergency needs, but long-term needs of desperate families. Fellowship Housing Corporation has quietly grown to be one of the largest independent, multi-site transitional housing programs in Illinois.
