Agape Children's Ministry Accredited by National Financial Accountability Organization
MODESTO, CA – The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) announced today the accreditation of Agape Children's Ministry of Modesto, CA.
ECFA accreditation is based on the ECFA Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™, including financial accountability, transparency, sound board governance and ethical fundraising.
Agape Children's Ministry joins a growing number of Christ-centered churches and ministries across America, supported by over 20 million donors that have earned the right to display the ECFA seal. When an organization is accredited by ECFA, it demonstrates its willingness to follow the model of biblical accountability.
“We are pleased to include in our membership a ministry committed to demonstrating God's love to children at risk,” said Dan Busby, president of ECFA.
Founded in 1993, Agape Children's Ministry (www.agapechildren.org) uses the four R's of Rescue, Redeem, Rehabilitate and Reintegrate to guide their work. They Rescue boys off the streets and girls out of the juvenile Remand Center. Agape Children's Ministry Redeem the children by helping them grow spiritually while providing physical and emotional care. They Rehabilitate them through on-going education at their on-campus school and their vocational training program. Agape Children's Ministry works to Reintegrate the children back to their families or a close relative allowing them to grow and become contributing, responsible adults in Christ with hope for a brighter future.
